Elon Musk’s X sues New York over content moderation law

NEW YORK (Reuters) -Elon Musk’s X Corp sued New York’s attorney general on Tuesday, challenging the constitutionality of a state law requiring social media companies to disclose sensitive information about how they monitor hate speech, extremism, disinformation and other content.

The complaint filed in Manhattan federal court said New York’s law compels disclosure of “highly sensitive and controversial speech” that is protected by the First Amendment and disfavored by the state.
